We have the pleasure to interview our friend and colleague Luigi Pegoraro, concierge of Hotel Cervo – Costa Smeralda in Sardinia. Fascinated by this wonderful summer destination, we wanted to ask Luigi the following questions:
1) What do you suggest to families to visit during their stay in Sardinia?
It seems trivial but the first proposal is always the sea, the clear and emerald water, the white sand of our beaches, so the peace that only the wind and the waves of the sea can offer. We always offer our customers a boat trip, in group or exclusive use, to visit places of extreme beauty such as the beautiful islands of the Archipelago of La Maddalena or the wonderful Gulf of Orosei with its natural caves, where the most famous is the Bue Marino’s one compared to its coves reachable only by sea, such as the beautiful Cala Goloritzè.
2) What is the reason to visit your wonderful region?
Sardinia is in its small so vast and rich, which it’s not only sea and beaches. For those tourists who want more, we offer the opportunity to live Sardinia at 360° thanks to our history, that characterizes us with countless archaeological sites scattered throughout the territory, our typical cuisine that varies from a place to another and of course, our best wines. But the unique sites in the entire world are our famous Nuraghes, the Giants Tombs and all those ancient buildings of the Nuragic age, to breathtaking and uncontaminated landscapes from the sea to the mountains. But the main reason that induces our customers to come back is surely the warmth and hospitality of our people that with sacredness, reserve to the guest the greatest attention to make him feel as at home.
3) What is the strangest request you have ever received from a guest?
We receive so many strange requests that seem so common to us that we no longer notice them. One of the most frequent is surely the request to organize an excursion to visit Sardinia in one day.

Abbiamo oggi il piacere di intervistare il nostro amico e collega Luigi Pegoraro, concierge dell’Hotel Cervo – Costa Smeralda in Sardegna. Affascinati da questa meravigliosa destinazione estiva, abbiamo voluto porre a Luigi le seguenti domande:
1) Cosa suggerite alle famiglie da visitare durante il loro soggiorno in Sardegna?
Sembra banale ma la prima proposta è sempre il mare, l’acqua limpida e smeraldina, la sabbia bianca delle nostre spiagge, quindi la pace che solo il vento e le onde del mare possono offrire. Offriamo sempre ai nostri clienti una gita in barca, in gruppo o ad uso esclusivo, per visitare luoghi di estrema bellezza come le bellissime isole dell’Arcipelago della Maddalena o il meraviglioso Golfo di Orosei con le sue grotte naturali, dove la più famosa è quella del Bue Marino rispetto alle sue calette raggiungibili solo via mare, come la bellissima Cala Goloritzè.
2) Qual è il motivo per visitare la vostra meravigliosa regione?
La Sardegna è nel suo piccolo così vasto e ricco, che non è solo mare e spiagge. A quei turisti che vogliono di più, offriamo la possibilità di vivere la Sardegna a 360° grazie alla nostra storia, che ci caratterizza con gli innumerevoli siti archeologici sparsi sul territorio, la nostra cucina tipica che varia da un luogo all’altro e, naturalmente, i nostri migliori vini. Ma i siti unici al mondo sono i nostri famosi nuraghi, le Tombe dei Giganti e tutti quegli antichi edifici dell’epoca nuragica, fino a paesaggi mozzafiato e incontaminati dal mare alla montagna. Ma il motivo principale che induce i nostri clienti a tornare è sicuramente il calore e l’ospitalità della nostra gente che con sacralità, riserva all’ospite la massima attenzione per farlo sentire come a casa sua.
3) Qual è la richiesta più strana che avete mai ricevuto da un ospite?
Riceviamo così tante strane richieste che ci sembrano così comuni che non le notiamo più. Una delle più frequenti è sicuramente la richiesta di organizzare un’escursione per visitare la Sardegna in un giorno.
